Please Remember Elijah
Today marks four years since my family said goodbye to my son Elijah.
I have been wondering all day what to say, what to do...but mostly wondering where everyone is....
This is the isolating part of grief. At some point I guess I will just have to accept that it is mine, and only mine to carry. But that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt like hell in the meantime.
I am so thankful for my husband coming with me today to place sunflowers in the river to remember our son. I know this has not been an easy journey for either of us.
Thank you to those of you who have reached out. It means to me more than you will ever know.
Please remember Elijah. Please remember my son.

Elijah,
I WILL change the world for you, and everyone will know your name. That is the promise I made, and I intend to keep it. I miss you with every single breath. I love you more. Always.
